Desktop Duck is free software made with care. Here's what you need to know.

Last updated: May 2026

The Software

Desktop Duck is free to download and use for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, repackage, or sell Desktop Duck without explicit written permission from the developer. You may not reverse-engineer the app for malicious purposes, nor use it to harm others or their systems.

These terms apply to all versions of Desktop Duck, including the Windows and macOS builds.

No Warranty

Desktop Duck is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee that it will work on your specific system, hardware configuration, or alongside every other application. Some system setups may experience issues we haven't been able to anticipate or test for.

Use Desktop Duck at your own risk. If something goes wrong, please report the bug and we'll do our best to fix it.

Limitation of Liability

The developer of Desktop Duck is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software. This includes but is not limited to data loss, system instability, or loss of productivity.

By using Desktop Duck you accept this limitation.

Updates

We may release updates to Desktop Duck at any time. Updates may add features, fix bugs, or change existing behaviour. Updates are optional but recommended for the best experience and latest features.

We may stop supporting older versions of Desktop Duck at our discretion. When a version is no longer supported, it will still work — we just won't issue further fixes for it.

Acceptable Use

Don't use Desktop Duck in ways that violate applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Don't attempt to exploit or abuse the software, its update mechanism, or any associated services. Don't misrepresent Desktop Duck as your own work.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Continued use of Desktop Duck after a change to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above if this happens.
